For Individuals:[Sunday] Pray that God by His grace and power will provide you and me the opportunity to evangelize and train in righteousness at least one person per year.
[Monday] Pray for equipping: 16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17 so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. [2 Timothy 3:16-17]
[Tuesday] Pray and think miraculously; “Now all glory to God, Who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” a [Ephesians 3:20] NLT
[Wednesday] Pray for God to work among true believers/disciples in miraculous ways: “The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” [2 Timothy 2:2] b
[Thursday] Pray that 3 million this year will be saved and discipled. “The Lord… is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.” [2 Peter 3:9] Increasing the 3 million goal 5% per year and allowing for estimated deaths and attrition, evangelicals can increase from 7% c to 20.5% of the population in 16 years by my estimate.e
[Friday] “pray without ceasing; “ [1 Thessalonians 5:17] The believers in Jesus Christ are vastly outnumbered today, but “nothing will be impossible with God.” [Luke 1:37]
For Governments: [Saturday] Pray for local, state and federal governments to take positive actions that can reverse the decline of our country. This will take many more miracles. Pray for government leaders elected and unelected to be “of sound judgment and sober spirit”; and “to humble themselves under the mighty hand of God” Encouraging events. d
3 million new converts will require [a] each group of 7 evangelicals to lead someone to Jesus and [b] 1.0 to 1.5 million Paul’s and Naomi’s as disciple-makers or each group of 22 evangelicals to disciple one new convert. We must not only pray for a miracle, but go in obedience and be the human instrument of God’s victory. Since the late 2000’s; with the efforts of Joe White, Dr. Heath Lambert, John Dickerson, Robert Gallaty, J. D. Greear, David Platt, the Navigators, and many others; the disciple-making movement is picking up momentum. If no disciple drops the baton the powers of multiplication in America could start a dramatic spiritual change in 10 years or less. See the Multiplication Chart on page 50 of men’s One2Won and page 71 of women’s version. Both charts begin with only 2 disciple-makers, but we have several hundred at FBC and thousands in America.
