H- [X] Ephesians 3:20 Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. NLT
E- This verse is a prayer promise that we usually don’t take literally because humans have finite minds. We usually think for ourselves without God without His wisdom and infinite input. You may say I don’t believe that last sentence. Lets ask ourselves a question? When faced with problems small, large, or very very large have we ever ask for Gods help using the promise above.
I didn’t think so. First God deserves the glory because it His ability and mighty work that comes into play not our finite power and work. We tend to leave God out! But His promise is to “accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think”. How do I pray that way for example; about the current war where Russia has attacked Ukraine, the decline of the Church in the US, someone to share Jesus with today, anything you have concerns about?
I will suggest only a few things to begin: [1] Start with realizing my own sin and asking God to forgive me and establish an intimate relationship with God through Jesus and led by the Holy Spirit. [A] [2] Ask God to reveal His presence to me through the Holy Spirit. [3] Pray with great and persistent perseverance until stopped by the Holy Spirit.
A- I would ask you to join in prayer for your concerns through the infinite power of God. Let me know of your thoughts!
R- O God help me pray with boldness, perseverance, and guided by the Holy Spirit.
