Has there been enough time since Noah’s World-wide flood for the population to exceed 7 Billion?

It has been 4,365 years since the flood in about 2350 BCa  to 2015. From 2350 BC to 1804 or 4,154 years the population increased from 8 people to 1 billion or a compound annual growth rate of 0.45%. Then from 1804 to 1927 or 123 years the population increased another 1 billion or a annual growth rate of 0.57%. From 1927 to 2015 or 88 years the population increased from 2 billion  to 7.36 billion, a annual growth rate of 1.5%.

Before 1804 AD there is no credible estimates for world-wide population and from 1804 to 2015these annual growth rates are factual. The compound annual growth rate from the flood to 1804 seems reasonable.

In the early years after the flood the life span of people was much longer than today and the families likely had many more children than today. For example Abraham after the flood lived 175 years, Abraham’s son Isaac 180 years, Isaac’s son Jacob 147 years and Jacob’s son Joseph 110 years. Joseph died about 1850 BC or about 500 years after the flood.
